2015 Record Attendance Shatters Expectations and Signals the Beginning of Best Year for Embedded and IoT Technology

San Clemente, Calif. – The Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference (RTECC) delivered on their promise with record attendance at their 2015 Santa Clara Kick-Off event. This was reflected by the incredible demand for industry knowledge and IoT innovations delivering 86% more attendees than in prior years.

“We set the bar high this year for attendance. Our goal was to provide the highest volume and lowest cost per lead of the entire industry. We are confident that we met this goal with “handshake quality” leads for under a $1.00,” said John Reardon, president of The RTC Group.

Along with record attendance, RTECC has better aligned the entire event to meet the growing needs of the embedded and IoT (Internet of Things) market. Leading off with two keynotes by Chris Rezendes of INEX Advisors and Richard Scafuto of Verizon and continuing with a conference program with 40 hours of technical sessions. Market leaders like Intel, Trenton Systems and Freescale brought additional energy by expanding their exhibits and hands-on demonstrations.

“Our goal at tradeshows is to reach both existing customers and establish new opportunities. We balance our content so it provides a general education on market trends and design challenges and showcases our new products and technologies,” said Scott Hughes, Global Marketing Manager at Freescale Inc., “The RTECC event provides an ideal platform for Freescale to demonstrate its market leadership and thought leadership in one venue. In our books that’s a great ROI.”

RTECC 2015 Santa Clara is the first event in The RTC Group’s traveling event tour of 10 North American cities focused on making connections with technical and business professionals in the embedded and IoT markets. Events in Dallas, Boston, Toronto and Ottawa promise similar opportunities for excellent lead ROI, strong client and prospect engagement, and enhanced opportunities to educate engineers and business decision makers on the new realities brought about by the convergence of traditional embedded systems and the IoT revolution.
