RTC Magazine and the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) team up to host HPC Summit 2017. We invite you to save the date for this unique event expected to bring together global technology leaders developing and deploying real-world HPC solutions.
There are several ways to participate.
- Become a delegate – Space is limited and by invitation only.
- Display a technology demo – Exhibition space will be provided for technology leaders wishing to share their innovation with the community. Demo prices begin at $1,495.
- Share as an HPC Summit speaker – A call for papers will be released in June. Our technical committee of John Koon (RTC), Jeff Child (COTS Journal) and Ronald Hawkins (SDSC) will make final selection on summit speakers.
HPC Summit 2017 is an international event organized to bring together diverse technology leaders utilizing high performance computing across all industries. Deep learning and IoT datacenter applications are beginning to highlight what’s possible with tomorrow’s HPC solutions. As an academic and industrial leader SDSC has come together with RTC Magazine to accelerate the development and adoption of HPC technology.

About San Diego Supercomputer Center
On November 14, 1985, the San Diego Supercomputer Center opened its doors on the northwestern corner of the UC San Diego campus. Their first supercomputer, a CRAY X-MP/48 – clocking at the mind-boggling performance of a billion calculations per second – was one of only a few in the world. It attracted researchers from around the world, in numerous disciplines such as astrophysics, biochemistry, geology and oceanography all hoping to accelerate their exploration.
Through the years, the center continues to be at the leading edge of compute power, offering researchers and industry access to technology not available anywhere else. This collaboration has expanded beyond purely scientific to aid in advancements in robotics, firefighting, medicine, deep learning and artificial intelligence.
About RTC Magazine
RTC magazine is a publication that focuses on real-world applications that require deployed systems with environmental concerns. The explosion of connected devices has expanded the need for systems capable of high performance in harsh environments. RTC continues to focus on deployed or edge devices with concerns regarding space, weight, fault tolerance and power.
